What We Offer

  • Mrs. Holliman offers tutoring in reading, math, and kindergarten readiness. She is certified in Birth-6th Grade with a Reading Endorsement from Graceland University. In the last 10 years she has taught Pre-k and kindergarten. In her years of teaching she has gained experience with Science of Reading, UFLI, Pathways to Reading, Heggerty, and other structured literacy approaches.

    Mrs. Holliman has a wealth of knowledge getting students prepared for kindergarten. Bloom Pre-K focuses on exploration of academics through play,

    foundations of literacy and math skills, process & product art, and social skill lessons.

    $65 per day / $130 a week

    ART CLASSES

    Art classes are focused on children exploring process and product art.

    Private lessons are fully student driven

    Small group is by theme and differentiated by child's choice.

  • CHILD(REN) + ADULTS) BOOK & BLOOM

    POP UP CLASS

    A welcoming space for moms, dads, caregivers, and the whole family to learn, play, and bloom alongside their little one while connecting with others in KC.

    Classes are held at local KC spaces and parks. Classes are uniquely differentiated by specific developmental milestones for each child. Classes are led by early childhood & elementary education teacher, Mrs. Holliman.

    Classes include music, story time, art, and other academic activities, followed by refreshments from your favorite kc vendors.

    Mrs. Holliman was born to be a teacher. She has a huge heart for children and families and is passionate about helping both feel successful. My children began working with her unable to read, and under her guidance they not only became readers above grade level, but also developed a true love of reading. Her ability to meet children where they are, build their confidence, and foster a love of learning is a gift. We are so grateful for the impact she has had on our family.

    I had the pleasure of taking my daughter to one of Book & Bloom’s Christmas pop-up events, and it was such a magical experience! From taking pictures with Santa to decorating delicious sugar cookies (with milk for the kiddos, of course!), every detail was thoughtfully planned. The Christmas story time was engaging and so special, and the themed crafts kept the kids smiling from start to finish.

    You could truly see the love and care that went into the planning of the event. It wasn’t just an activity—it created memories my daughter and I will always cherish.
